About Our TeamMeet the crew that makes up Kite Media.
Business Development Guy
Garrett started Kite Media in 2010 during his senior year of college and the company has been one of his passions ever since. Originally from Idaho, Garrett spent several years living in Los Angeles before making Utah his home. He loves the outdoors, especially the mountains and takes any chance he can to visit the beach. He loves cars, paddle boarding, riding his bike, playing and watching basketball, and traveling. Garrett enjoys digital marketing because it allows him to combine creativity, strategy, and design to help businesses grow.
Pay-Per-Click Advertising Specialist
Dusty is a native of San Diego and now calls Utah home. He is a graduate of Utah State University with a degree in Business Administration. Dusty is an avid sports fan and loves his hometown Padres, as well as going to the beach. He enjoys working around the house and going to the gym. Before joining Kite Media, Dusty did marketing and sales for a national carpet cleaning franchise. He was able to gain experience that he has incorporated into his work at Kite Media. He also loves spending time with his wonderful wife and baby boy.
Colten Van Tussenbrook
Web Designer, Digital Marketer
Colten started at Kite Media in 2016 while finishing up his degree from Utah State in Technical Writing and Computer Science. He loves working with the web, especially web design and digital marketing. He also enjoys graphic design, writing code and keeping up with the latest tech news. Colten also has a passion for writing, in particular about technology and business. When Colten is not connected online, he’s usually on a remote river fly fishing (if it’s warm), or hitting the slopes and enjoying the greatest snow on earth (if it’s cold).
Graphic Designer, Web Designer
After 3 years of marriage, Lizzy decided it was finally time to join her husband Garrett and the Kite Media team. She was born in Las Vegas and raised in Utah. She graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Family Finance. After graduation, she worked in the mortgage industry for 3 years doing marketing and office management. She has a passion for graphic design and all things creative. Lizzy enjoys playing tennis, watching movies and trying new restaurants with her husband, and they recently welcomed their first child into the family.
Garrett grew up near Salt Lake City. He recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Utah State University. Garrett is a huge sports fan and loves watching the NFL and NBA as well as playing beach volleyball and spikeball. He enjoys warm weather and visits as many national parks as he can every summer – he especially loves Yellowstone and Yosemite. He is a strong believer that slow drivers should stick to the right lane on the freeway. When he can, he loves to read, write music, and watch movies.
Adam joined the Kite Media team in 2016 after moving from his hometown of Kaysville, Utah to Logan to study at Utah State University. Most recently he lived in Southern California, and he misses the good weather that Utah doesn’t always offer. Adam finds joy in helping others and loves to put his problem-solving and creative skills to the test, especially in the field of digital marketing. Adam loves sports and is always up for a game of pick-up basketball or beach volleyball. He also enjoys playing the guitar and eating Mexican food.
SEO Specialist, Social Media Marketer
Alex joined the Kite Media team in 2017, while finishing a degree in Marketing at Utah State University. Before Kite Media, Alex provided SEO services to clients across the U.S. and Canada, and managed a Social Media program. He enjoys listening to and writing music, and loves being physically fit and healthy. He often brags about his dog, Sullivan, and the many tricks he has learned (most recently, balancing seven treats on his nose).
Kym joined Kite Media after studying technical communication and marketing at Utah State University, where she was able to gain a wide range of digital marketing skills. She loves being able to use these skills to help others accomplish their business goals and succeed. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing board games, and eating (too much) ice cream.
Graham joined the Kite Media team 14 months ago, and has been an integral part of the team. He honestly doesn’t do very much except give fist bumps when we need encouragement, and watches cartoons that we probably enjoy more than he does. He likes rocks.
Mark Bell is a Salt Lake native studying psychology at Utah State University. His specialties include photography, videography, and talking about feelings. Mark could eat sushi for the most meals for the rest of his life, and is the kind of person who tells others not to end their sentences in prepositions (but ironically). He absolutely believes that everyone should make their beds.
Ryker was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. After living in El Salvador for several years, he joined the Kite Media team in 2017 while studying graphic design and marketing at Utah State University. He finds joy in self-improvement and interacting with others. Ryker also enjoys sports, playing musical instruments, and spending time with his family and friends.
Digital marketing master
Coleman is a Lubbock, Texas native that decided to leave the Texas heat in exchange for the Utah cold. He came to Utah State University to run track and pursue a degree in marketing. He loves to help people solve their problems and have the best experience possible. When he’s not working, he likes to play sports and hang out with his wife.
